Next-Generation Smartphone Integration

Having access to all of our devices at all times is important to many of us in today’s age. Not only is the 2023 Honda CR-V equipped with the kind of software that helps us use all of our technology to its full potential, but Honda engineers and designers have included a broad array of standard features to support those additional digital devices. LX and Sport versions are equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen interface that will control multimedia functions as well as the radio. EX-L and Touring Hybrid models employ a 9-inch touchscreen display.

Along with these touchscreens, future owners of the 2023 Honda CR-V will also get:

  • Four-speaker audio system (LX)
  • Six-speaker audio system (Sport)
  • Display Audio System with eight speakers (EX-L)
  • BOSE® Premium audio system with 12 speakers (Touring Hybrid)
  • Navigation included (Touring Hybrid)

Available Wireless Connectivity

The Honda CR-V has been available with both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of smartphone applications. However, for the 2023 model year, the EX-L and Touring Hybrid trims are among the first Honda models to make wireless access available for users of both smartphone types. The advantage of having wireless connectivity is pretty clear, it will help cut down on the unnecessary clutter that can quickly overwhelm a vehicle’s passenger cabin. Additionally, the same two trims also offer wireless smartphone charging as standard equipment, further eliminating the tangle of cords we need to carry around with us.

Honda has provided more ways to keep devices charged, even if wireless options aren’t available. Every 2023 CR-V has two USB ports in the front seats that can be used for charging compatible devices. The Touring Hybrid offers a pair of USB-C charging ports in the backseat, as well.

This is only the very surface of what the 2023 Honda CR-V has to offer in terms of connectivity technology. Make an appointment with a GP Honda product expert, today, to learn more or start the process of taking one home.
