2023 Honda Accord New Features and Updates

Honda isn’t abandoning the elements that made the Accord such an iconic platform for the coming model. However, with that in mind, sharp-eyed GP Honda customers will notice that the 2023 Honda Accord has an all-new sleeker and more sophisticated exterior silhouette. The new sedan’s long and clean lines are enhanced by its powerful front end, which is adorned with a signature grille and blacked-out LED headlights.

Additionally, the 2023 Accord will be available in six colours, including three new options, Meteorite Gray Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl, and Canyon River Blue Metallic.

New Connectivity Features

Not only will the 2023 Accord Touring trim grade continue to be the top of the Accord line, but it will also be among the first Honda vehicles to be equipped with Google Built-In technology. More details about the exact functionality of this new suite of technology will be available when the official launch date of the sedan gets closer, but we do know a little about what it will have to offer.

Google Built-In is an umbrella suite that will house several Google features, including Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play. Each of these systems and services is seamlessly integrated into the natural operation of the vehicle and controlled through the available touchscreen interface or through natural voice commands.

2023 Accord Performance Specs

The 2023 Honda Accord is available in three primary trims. The EX uses a gas-powered engine, and the Sport and Touring models are equipped with the automaker’s updated gas/electric powertrain.

Buyers choosing the base EX model will have a turbocharged 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder engine under the hood attached to a continuously variable transmission or CVT. The Sport and Touring models use a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine that is attached to a pair of electric motors.

These setups will give the EX a peak output of 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque, and the two hybrid models will make up to 204 horsepower (gas and electric systems combined) and 247 pound-feet of torque.
